The availability and acquisition of relevant data sets remains one of the major issues in the implementation of geospatial technologies in K-12 education.  These data sets must be appropriate for school-aged audiences and they must be readily available; this information is based on a follow-up study of geospatial training.  Spatial Sci is committed to providing K-12 educators with a data portal for the retrieval of spatial data sets that meet their needs.

Our data sets are broken into four categories - Earth Science, Life Science, Physical Science, and Demography - making it easier for users to locate data based on content areas.  Search capabilities have been added in order to provide a quick find interface for users wanting to search for specific data sets.

Click on the links to the right to get started and please let us know if you have questions or would like to see other data sets added to the site.
